Some facts

- I'm a really bad blog keeper, I don't post very often and when I think: oh yes, that's something for my blog, I forget to post it. So shame on me, I'm bad!

- I've got a week of vacation, and that was a good opportunity to prepare some larger tasks for school, and I've done NOTHING, I'm really bad!

- I've got a wonderful Tuesdayeve, I was invited on a girlsnight with some girls of my class, and we had so much fun, and I must say we were very girly: bad food (scampi's, icecream and cookies), magazines, make up, movies and pictures.

- Thurday I went to the sea, and I've found 2 berets, finally! My mum had washed mine and it was totaly destroyd (I was actually very mad at her, I really liked my beautiful beret) but now she had bought me a black and purple one!

- This afternoon I've showed my art of cooking (how do you say that in English, haha). I've made a sorbet of kiwi because my mum didn't knew a dessert for tonight (my aunt is coming to eat over here). Hope it will be nice!

Blazerrr

I will tell you something, something so wonderful that you will start to smile, just because it's such a nice story!

Saturday I went to Brussels with my mother and I have found the most wonderful buy of my life. Maybe because it was so cheap, but that doesn't mean it isn't less beautiful! It's this navy marine blazer, I have found it in a shop for only €5! It looks vintage but it isn't, but when it was vintage it would have been so expensive, serious!

Today I went to Westland shopping center at Anderlecht, and in Zara I have found my second good buy! This grey blazer for only €16,95. God, sale is so wonderful, I totaly love it!

So, maybe now you can understand why I'm so happy.

I was thinking: actually I cant sew a button on a vest or a pant. For exemple: my mum learned it at school, it was a subject, how cool, much better than geographie and history, because sewing is important in a woman's life. But now there is nobody who teachs it at me. And that's a shame, because every self respected woman has to be able to do that. And I can't, shit.
So I give myself a speed cursus on internet. So now I have sewed allready 4 buttons on a basic cardigan. And actually I'm happy, I didnt wear it a lot anymore and now it's like new with 4 red buttons! (Tomorrow I will show a picture!)

Now I'm going to a restaurant with my parents and after that to a café with some friends! It's vacation by the way, so a good reason to celebrate it!

And now this big man has a place in het musuem for photography in Antwerp. I hope I will get there before the 13th of May (than the exposition is over)!

Yesterday my exchange student from Gembloux depart to home. We had a nice time together and I think her Dutch has improved with this little exchanging. Fridaynight we had a party at school and they all had such a nice time, they all said: "It was the best party ever!" So we can be proud at our little party community: Ternat.
By the way: 2 of my wishlist artists for Werchter are coming, yeah! They had announced friday that: Oasis, Kings Of Leon, Bloc Party, Dave Matthews, Franz Ferdinand, Limp Bizkit, Elbow, Amy Macdonald, The Streets and Mastodon are coming this summer. So I'm happy!

I don't know what I actually want to say, but it was a long time ago that I had posted something. So this is a stupid post just to say: I'm still alive!
And next week I have vacation, olé!

Hi beauties!

Tomorrow is the big day, my exchange student from Gembloux is coming. I hope she will like it overhere. Today I have cleaned my room, it was such a mess, horrible! And I have to make a good impression, isn't it?

I hope we will like eachother, and that this 4 days will be fun, but I think so. Friday it's a party at my school to celebrate the last 100 days of our sixth class. And Saturday we go all together to Ghent to go shopping and take some pictures of our groupe.

Actaully, I'm a bit ashamed of my 'hardly using of my wonderful camera' (a Nikon D40), but I think it's the weather. Pictures are so much prettyer when they are taking outside in the sun, and for the moment it's rainy and cold. So come on spring, where are you?

P.S. The picture above is from the most beautiful soap here in Belgium. And unfortunately it's done since Sunday. But I still like everything about it, and I'm thinking for buying the dvd-box of it, so lovely!

I've got a boring day at school, it's windy and rainy outside and I have cold.
So I came home, made me a glass of fresh orangejuice (so much vitamines), I warmed up some pancakes and I read for a while in my book (Atonement from Ian McEwan).

And now I have to study about sexuality, and when I say that, I think also about the most sexy person of the moment: Ed Westwick (it changes the whole time, but just for now he's the hottest one, you know).
And now it's your turn: look at the picture, think you are on a sunny beach, with a cocktail in your hand and that he is on the deckchair next to you. Yes, I know, won-der-ful! But indeed, it's just a beautiful dream. In the real world it just rains outside, it's cold, I don't have a cocktail and I really don't have such a beautiful boy besides me. But it's cool to have that sort of thoughts before you have to study. Good Luck!

Viva la vida

In 5 months the most popular festival of Belgium will start again. From 2 till 5 july you have to be at Rock Werchter, for the best bands of the moment. And I'm not exaggerating, there are only 4 band who are confirm to come, but when you hear Coldplay (!!!), indeed, you are totally going mad. It's the last time you can see them in Belgium because they quite after this tour, so I can't wait till sunday the 5th of July!
And, it's only the begin, there will come so much more wonderfull musicians, and Katrien will be there for four days, so let the party begin!
My wishlist: MGMT, Kings of Leon, The Prodigy, Bloc Party, Radiohead, Air Traffic, Lilly Allen, Justice, etc.

It's all about gossip

I'm sure you know Gossip Girl, the most popular soap of the moment. (And if you don't know: shame at you, look it up on google, now, hurry up!
Everyone is addicted at it, and so am I. I've seen the whole first season, and now I'm waiting full of expactations at the second season of the magical live of Manhattan's elite! I don't know when it will be released on dvd, but I hope very very very quick! Actually: why isn't it just at tv overhere, like in every other country? Stupid televisionmakers, or maybe just: stupid Belgium!

Interior

I'm sorry for the lack of posts, but I'm so busy with learning for school, and since yesterday I'm a bit ill to, so the only thing I now want to do is just sleeping a whole day long. But I can't, because my lessons history and economics that are waiting for me. Today I had a test of Chemics-bullshit and I totaly failed at it, just because I couldn't learn yesterday because of migraine. So this week is really shit.

However I Hope you enjoy the beautiful interior pictures underneath.

Excited me!

February has started today, and for me it always feels so special. From now on it's just one run to the finish. In my schooldiary I'm begining to the second page of my calender (I'm ticking off the days) and that gives a really amazing feeling.
But from now one there is happening so much. In one week my exchange student from Gembloux (French speaking part of Belgium) is coming to learn Dutch over here. After that I have a week of vacation, than I'm going to Paris with school. In March I'm going to Gembloux to improve my French. And with Eastern I'm going to Turkey. And last but not least: my birthday on the 1st of May.
So it's quite busy, but I like it, it's only 5 months for the big, hot, amazing, wonderfull HOLIDAY! Love it!
